Some Quick Q&A
Will you bring backup equipment?
Will you bring backup equipment?
I could spend a great deal of time answering this question, but I think someone else did it better, so I'll send you to this great blog post from Mydeejay.com on Hiring a Wedding Photographer.

Well, if you check out the blog you will see some examples. It basically means I'm going to do everything I can to make this image a work of art. It might mean texturizing, toning, making eyes pop, removing blemishes, whitening teeth, or adding other fine art effects that really are better understood when viewed than when described. Again, check out the blog for examples.
Labels: Full Creative Edit
I encourage all my clients to purchase a wedding album. It is the very best way to display your favorite images in all of their "full creative edit" glory; it is how you will remember the story and the details of your wedding years from now; and it will become an heirloom to cherish in your home throughout your marriage.
Labels: Albums
Shortly after your wedding day, I will post your images in your online gallery. From there, you pick 15 of your must haves and I begin putting together your album. When I have finished putting together my vision for the story of your day, I will then present a version of your album to you for your review. This is your chance to look through the album page by page, offering suggestions or adding general comments on each page. After we agree on your best album layout, it will be sent to the printers, and delivered to your doorstep.

What you get:
Your wedding proof DVD will include 600+ photographs from your session. All photographs will be corrected for white-balance, contrast, color and conversions to black and white at the discretion of Taylor Swedberg Photography. This way you can print your own images through the professional lab of your choice.
What you don't get:
While every image on this DVD will be checked for color, contrast, sharpness, etc. and given individual attention, they will not be given a "full creative edit" such as the images posted on the blog. If you are planning on displaying an image in a large, prominent format, you will definitely want to consider purchasing a print through your gallery where each image will be given the full creative edit after it is purchased.

Your Gallery
I am so excited to be able to offer these galleries to clients free of charge! This will be the first place you see all of your edited images after your event, and you will not be disappointed. Your images will be shown in a clean and simple interface. Additionally, a new "dim-the-lights" mode allows you to click on an image and it is shown at almost the size of your screen as the background fades to black. The best feature, though, has to be the slideshows.
Your Storefront
Your strorefront is completely integrated with your gallery. For example, if you are looking though a slideshow of your wedding day in your gallery and see an image you really like, with a couple clicks you can have it framed and shipped to your door.
Here are the details: When you purchase an image, the full size, "full creative edit" image will be uploaded and replace what you currently see in the gallery. In other words, the images you see have been give a quick "once over" for color correction, contrast, and composition so that I can get your images to you as quickly as possible. However, once you order a print, I will focus much more attention on that particular image to make sure it is of the highest quality possible. This extra time may include services like toning, texturizing, fine art touches, or retouching select areas like eyes, blemishes, bland skies, etc. Basically, anything I can do to make your image your very own work of art! To view samples of what a fully edited image looks like, see the main page of my website.
