ALESHA AND ADAM: NORTHWEST WEDDING

I'm just testing a blog post format.

Alesha and Adam: Northwest Wedding

Alesha and Adam were married over Memorial Day weekend on Vancouver Island north of Sooke Harbor at the Point No Point Resort. It was a small wedding with just their parents and Alesha's sister in attendance, and despite the threat of rain the entire day, everything worked out perfectly.

It was SUCH a unique wedding. Between the intimate guest list, the Northwest beach ceremony, the rubber boots Alesha borrowed at the last minute and then wore all day, and the late night campfire to top evening off, this wedding will truly stand out to me as a memorable one. It's nice when everything works out perfectly despite the threat of rain.

Oh, and Alesha and Adam were incredible... so easy going. They were completely flexible the entire day, didn't once complain about wet weather, and they even kept thinking of ways to bless Mindy and I even though we really just wanted them to blend into the background and let them enjoy their wedding day. Thank you, Alesha and Adam, for everything. Enjoy!

Go for it. You bought them.

What Kinds of Questions Should I Ask When Hiring a Wedding Photographer?

I could spend a great deal of time answering this question, but I think someone else did it better, so I'll send you to this great blog post from Mydeejay.com on Hiring a Wedding Photographer.

So What Exactly is a Full Creative Edit?

Well, if you check out the blog you will see some examples. It basically means I'm going to do everything I can to make this image a work of art. It might mean texturizing, toning, making eyes pop, removing blemishes, whitening teeth, or adding other fine art effects that really are better understood when viewed than when described. Again, check out the blog for examples.

What Kind of Albums Do You Provide?

I encourage all my clients to purchase a wedding album. It is the very best way to display your favorite images in all of their "full creative edit" glory; it is how you will remember the story and the details of your wedding years from now; and it will become an heirloom to cherish in your home throughout your marriage.

Each album is hand-designed in a modern, simple style by Taylor Swedberg Photography with your wedding and unique body of images in mind. No outside templates are used. No two albums are alike.

We offer a wide range of albums from a standard album for budget-minded couples to highly customizable premium albums for couples who want the very best modern wedding albums.

What is the Album Process Like?

Shortly after your wedding day, I will post your images in your online gallery. From there, you pick 15 of your must haves and I begin putting together your album. When I have finished putting together my vision for the story of your day, I will then present a version of your album to you for your review. This is your chance to look through the album page by page, offering suggestions or adding general comments on each page. After we agree on your best album layout, it will be sent to the printers, and delivered to your doorstep.
